I wanted to put out some ideas and get back some input about a Pedigree Society before I created it, so I'll list my ideas and please feel free to make a comment or add some of your own.
1. Registry for breeders, studs, queens, and bred cats 2. Cat inspections 3 or 4 times a year. 3. Cat inspections would be gradings on each feature, like eyes, ears, etc. and be graded according to that cat's breed. Each feature would get a score out of 10 (?) with maybe additional scores for overall appearance/conformation and attitude. 4. Shows for the registered cats (1 every two months or so)
Cool idea or waste of time? Do you think it would help you chose a stud cat or locate respectable breeders? Would it be better to limit it to a stud registry that listed stud prices and have another association for bred cats? Should we introduce cat inspections?

I think that the pedigree society is a good idea but maybe when the game gets biggerr? I personally have the habbit of changing prices for studs (on other sims) way too often as I never make my mind up - how would we get the fee changed? Email?
It should all be 1 big registry with different sections. It depends on the layout / design you have in mind. Cat inspections? What would this involve?

Inspections are like grades out of 10 or 25 for each feature, like eyes, ears, overall conformation, etc. that are awarded according to the breed standards of that breed. I'm not sure if they do that in real life for cats, but they do it for horses, so I thought it might be interesting to introduce to Catsup. It might be better though to stick to the society being a registry and holding shows.
